We believe most handlebars are overbuilt to avoid being crushed by the stem since most stem clamp designs have a nasty habit of gouging the handlebar. We realized we could make better products by addressing that crucial interface between the two. DUET is a handlebar and stem system. It’s lighter than the one-piece bar/stem combos spec'd on many XCO World Champion’s bikes. Aside from serious weight savings, you benefit from the adjustability of separate components. 

The 64g DUET stem distributes clamping force much better than any other stems we tested. The more complex shaping of the clamping area and associated force distribution improvement is the magic that led to our uber-lightweight, 135 gram DUET handlebar. The DUET handlebar should only be used with the DUET stem, since we’ve designed the carbon laminate to function safely with the optimized clamping characteristics of the DUET stem.

Awesome Construction

Have been using the system for about 1.5 months and the machining is awesome the weight is light.

The carbon bar lay up is perfect, sometimes when you go Super light, you get super stiff not with these bar though.

Happy with purchase.

Garmin Edge 530 does not fit

I was super excited for this bar and stem, especially the sleek integrated computer mount. Unfortunately with just the WolfTooth Ultralite Stem Cap w/Integrated spacer and on top of my 60mm stem, my Garmin Edge 530 with no case hits the stem cap and cannot be used. Beautiful bar/stem combo, but the computer mount is not functional, bummed
