The ALLROAD is a legitimate road racing machine. Put 25c tires on, and no watt goes wasted. It’s plenty light for epic climbs, it’s designed to deliver beefy stiffness under power, yet it has a gentle ease on chip seal. But put 35c tires on it and you’ll discover its alter ego -- a ripping-fast gravel bike easily capable of managing dirt hardpack and moderate rock. The ALLROAD is our Swiss Army Knife of bikes. Again and again we marvel at how dynamic it is at balancing road agility with off-road stability.
A question we’re asked everyday is “ALLROAD or ABLE?” Both bikes offer heaps of versatility, but each has different leanings. If you’re looking for a bike capable of navigating steep, rock-intensive terrain -- including chunky gravel -- then you’ll want to choose the ABLE. But if your daily dirt is perhaps a bit less-rugged, such as dirt county roads and marble-like gravel, then the ALLROAD is unquestionably the best choice.
The ALLROAD frameset will come as a frame, fork and headset. It requires a 27.2mm seatpost, a 68mm (English) threaded bottom bracket and flat-mount disc brakes.
Since we do all of our paint in-house, we can give you options galore in choosing a color for your new ALLROAD:
-
We offer two stock colors -- Ecru paint with Black decals, or Meissen Blue paint with Bahama Blue decals. Both are gorgeous options, making them our best-sellers. And as a bonus, by choosing a stock scheme we're typically able to ship out your frameset a bit more quickly than a non-stock option.
-
If you have a keen sense of design and you want to invest in a truly one-of-a-kind paint scheme, we can offer you a "Ready-to-Paint" option. This is when we ship you a fully primed and sealed frameset. It's 100% prepped to be scuffed and base-coated. You can send this to the painter of your choice for a fully personalized paint scheme. We'll send digital Allied assets for your painter to apply as part of the process.
-
You can choose the "Customize" option above and select from an assortment of non-stock PPG paint and decal options -- including Gloss, Matte and Harlequin -- for a $500 upcharge. And if you have a color in mind you don't find there, contact our customer support team so we can discuss the possibilities.
