Flat Bar Able
Limited Edition Run of 20 Bikes Tailored for the Trail
Our favorite adventures cover one-third pavement, one-third gravel and one-third singletrack. We call it the Rule of Three. We designed the ABLE to deliver this exact sort of versatility. Not many other bikes will feel so primed sprinting for a city limits sign, so stable threading through rock-strewn backroads, then just as dialed ripping around dirt berms.
But what we know from experience is that every rider has a primary passion, and that’s where the bulk of their miles will be spent. And it’s for riders with a love affair with cross-country mountain biking that we’re making this limited-edition ABLE in a flat bar configuration with a top-notch combination of SRAM Force AXS and X01 Eagle AXS.
A flat bar gravel bike is especially ideal for riders training for marathon mountain bike races or brutality like the Leadville 100. These sorts of events demand endurance above all. But spending that much training time on a mountain bike – we’re talking 4, 5, or 6-hour days in the saddle – is fraught with complications, the least of which include singletrack crash risk and boredom from looping on the same trails again and again.
The benefit of a flat bar gravel bike is the ability to emulate a mountain bike control inputs and body position – but to get access the relative convenience, freedom and abundance of fresh terrain that comes with gravel.
We’re offering this bike in a SRAM build with a wireless drivetrain combining the best of Force AXS and X01 Eagle AXS, SRAM G2 hydraulic disc brakes, Industry Nine wheels, WTB 27.5” knobbies, an Enve M6 carbon handlebar with Ergon grips and a PNW dropper seatpost. It comes in a gorgeous Sahara Yellow paint with a Dove Grey decal package.

EXPLORE THE ABLE
The ABLE is a performance off-road machine that tilts more towards the “mountain skinny” side of the gravel segment. It prefers a big tire but keeps a short rear end - in fact, it’s the same as the ALLROAD at 420mm. This is achieved by the most striking feature on the bike - the elevated drive-side chainstay. The ABLE begs to be ripped around on singletrack, fire roads, hardpack dirt, and chunky gravel.
