SRAM RED XPLR AXS 1x Bike

Regular price $9,500

The ECHO isn’t an everyday racing beast. It’s actually two everyday racing beasts, each with a distinct personality. Built with SRAM Red XPLR AXS 1X, this is our no-holds-barred configuration. SRAM Red AXS represents the absolute cutting edge in drivetrain technology. Its wireless 12-speed shifting is all-but-telepathic, the braking is ultra-precise.

Go from road mode to gravel mode and go even faster everywhere with the SRAM XPLR group and the proven tough, lightweight Zipp 303 wheelset. Pure road performance one day, gravel race-ready the next with a simple switch of flip chips at the front and rear dropouts. One bike. No compromise.

Payson McElveen ripped his way onto the podium aboard his ECHO at the 2022 SBT GRVL, where he dueled with some of the very best over 142 miles, 9,200 feet of climbing, and 100+ miles of gravel. The ECHO has been called a Shapeshifter, but Chameleon may be another worthy descriptor. The Chameleon’s adaptability across varied terrain and capacity to alter itself in the wild is akin to the Echo transforming from a road race thoroughbred to a versatile, agile gravel bike. This happens with a simple switch of flip chips at the front and rear dropouts. These eccentric chips and corresponding dropout design allow the rider to easily change the bike geometry, effectively changing the chainstay length and fork length by 1 cm. The difference transforms the bike from a road machine with 415mm chainstay length, 368mm fork length, 73-degree headtube angle, and tire clearance for up to 30mm, to a gravel bike with 425mm chainstay length, 378mm fork length, 72.5mm head tube angle, and 40mm tire clearance - all within a 10-minute switch of dropout chips. Pure road performance one day, gravel race-ready the next. One bike. No compromise.

We have equipped the ECHO with SRAM’s new 1x-specific wireless drivetrain and paired it with the Zipp 303 wheelset. Developed to withstand the brutality of the Spring Classics, the Zipp 303 is a go-to wheelset for a variety of mixed terrains. The rim profile and tire bed are ideal for wide tires, tubeless setup, and running lower pressures. Ride them on pavement, dirt, or gravel. Go ahead, do it.

The XPLR AXS wireless drivetrains target a gearing sweet spot. With the XPLR’s 10-44T cassette and matching derailleur, you’ll get the big range for gravel climbs and tight jumps for fast riding on pavement.

Have a Question?

TRUE ALL-ROAD.

Eccentric chips in the ECHO’s dropouts transition it from a tight, reactive road-racing machine to gravel versatility with a kicked-out wheelbase and raked-out fork.

ALWAYS TIDY. NEVER CLEAN.

Built in-house and painted to match, our ECHO Stem reduces clamping forces, conceals cables and hoses, and accommodates a growing list of internally routed handlebars. We like our cockpits coated in gravel dust but free of clutter.

2x, 1x, your choice

The ECHO is compatible with all current electric road and gravel drivetrain options from Shimano and SRAM.
