ECHO FORCE AXS M/56cm

Amazing bike, blew me away from the first pedal stroke. Even in gravel mode, it is more stable and peppy than my old Bianchi (a 2012 Sempre Pro), and like 1,000 times more comfortable. Stuck to tarmac, unpaved roads and trails are a mess around here, we had a good amount of rain in the last few days. Looking forward to taking it off tarmac as well as setting it up with road tires.

I simply love the bike from the clean lines (with hidden cables) to the subdued graphics. The Echo in my opinion is the perfect go anywhere or do anything bike to have. I was also very impressed with the purchase experience. Cole worked with me to get the perfect setup. He always was patient and answered all of my questions. I feel like the bike is dialed in just for me. I came from another brand (which I really liked) but it had a bunch of proprietary parts. With the Echo I can switch at just about any part that I would like! The bike is pure quality and I can’t wait to put the miles on it! I ride for fitness and the joy of being outside. I often ride between 60/40 and 80/20 road to gravel (or dirt) while other rides are all road. So I was looking for a bike that would deliver on mixed surfaces but still be reasonably fast on pavement. I also love the idea of an American made frame and Allied's whole philosophy about bike manufacturing. (I did a lot of research).
The Echo is everything I desired. I am keeping it set up for gravel and even so it is quite fast on roads. It accelerates really well from a stop and cruises along nicely at higher speeds on long flat stretches. The bike climbs very well on pavement but stays grounded on steeper and trickier gravel hills. It even recently got me through an unexpected 30 ft long ice patch without incident. On long descents the Echo feels super fast but keeps the feeling of a solid connection to the road.
However, when I transition from road to gravel or dirt the bike seems to come even more to life. With the 40 x 700 WTB Vulpine tires the Echo rides like a really lightweight and super quick mountain bike, although I am not trying to ride mountain bike trails or single track with it. I have also not yet experienced any discomfort or fatigue that one sometimes associates with carbon frames (but I am not riding more than 25 miles per ride at this point).
All in all the Echo has turned out to be exactly what I wanted. And the customer service at Allied is really great. Both Cole and Will were extremely helpful and informative during my decision making process.
So definitely 5 stars.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that I have been getting compliments on my bike out on the road !

Love my echo. Bike arrived super dialed and ready to go out of the box. The paint is so nice, I'm scared to scratch it! Currently riding some 32mm Corsa tires, and the handling is superb. Very excited to get ripping down some gravel roads, and plan on lacing up a 2nd set of wheels. A true quiver killer! I was previously riding a 2018 Alfa with mechanical/rim, and this feels like such an upgrade. Love the fully integrated look
